Make a Difference Days CPR & AED Training

You will take part in Heart & Stroke Foundation - CPR and AED Training

The act of performing CPR on an unresponsive and unconscious individual can give victims a fighting chance of survival until paramedics arrive…knowing how to use an AED device can increase an unconscious and unresponsive individual’s chances of survival by 75%, over 2% with CPR alone.
Join us at a training session where you’ll learn how to perform CPR and use an AED device. It’s hands-on training with qualified instructors from the Heart & Stroke Foundation. What better way to prepare you to make a difference any day, in a situation where it may be critically needed, than to learn the skills of CPR and the AED device.
A first for First West, we’re excited to provide you with this important training during our annual Make a Difference Days.
“I feel exceptionally fortunate to work for an organization that is providing the opportunity to experience CPR and AED training; Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) device are skills that can literally be life changing.”
Brieann Spencer BPHE/BA CPHR
Project Lead, Healthy Workplace
