Make a Difference Days: Food Sorters

Help our Lake Cowichan food bank partners feed those in need in our community!

We will be helping our partners at the Lake Cowichan Food Bank with their monthly duties in sorting food donations and preparing hampers for their clients. With limited opportunities at this food bank we have broken volunteer duties into two shifts so we can involve up to six different staff members. The first shift will be assisting in sorting food donations and laying it out on the shelves. Please wear comfortable clothing and your Island Savings t-shirt. If you require one please contact Chris at cwaddell@islandsavings.ca and he will forward to you. Cindy Vast will be your contact for this volunteer opportunity.
