Gardening Helper

Working with interested residents to help our gardens look nice for residents and visitors.

We have many small garden spaces attached to our 'houses' at Willingdon Creek Village. Some areas have raised flower beds and we encourage residents to grow flowers and veggies. Volunteers would assist residents to go out to the garden areas to weed, water & deadhead.

This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.

We are a 102 room seniors residence located in Powell River. With the support of our many volunteers we are able to improve the quality of life for our residents. Volunteers assist by giving emotional and social support, by helping in scheduled activity programs, and by bringing a special skill to share, such as music, to share a few ideas.
