Fundraising Volunteers

Assist in financial stability for local hospice care.

The Powell River Hospice Society is funded 100% by donations. Help provide vital support to local hospice care by joining our fundraising committee. Volunteers work together to plan, organize and host fun, meaningful events. All funds directly provide sustainable end of life and bereavement care to those in Powell River.
Direction is provided by our Fundraising Chair. Enthusiasm and organization are assets!
Volunteers meet once per month, plus periodic event organization.
Come join a fun, dedicated group of people!

This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.

Requirements to Volunteer
  • 1 monthly meeting. Periodic events.
  • Computer and social media skills and asset.
  • Grant writing experience an asset (but not required).
