VUFS Annual Urban Farming Forum
Good for Groups

VUFS Annual Forum is heldevery year in November. The Vancouver Urban Farming Forum brings together urban farmers from across the region, policymakers, food security advocates, and urban agriculture enthusiasts. All are welcome! The day features a diversity of sessions and panel discussions on urban farming-related topics.
We are currently looking for volunteers to join our Forum Committee. Volunteers will participate in all aspects of forum planning (theme determination, speakers’ outreach, communications, sponsors recruitment, etc.).
As a volunteer, you will:
- connect with like-minded food sector passionates;
- build new skills, and bring those you have to the table;
- get a free admission to our 8th Annual Urban Farming Forum;
- participate in the elaboration of a great event that sells-out every year!
Commitment is 4 hours per month including a monthly meeting with VUFS staff. Tasks will be divided during meetings and can be accomplished any time before the next meeting. The forum will be held in November 2018, and meetings will be starting in April. Join us for this rewarding and fun opportunity!
