Every Wednesday (weather permitting) 10am - 3pm is volunteer day at the Start Fresh Farm near Gordon Dr. and Casorso Rd.!

Our project coordinator, Lucie, will be out there harvesting, weeding and tidying up starting now (mid-Sept) until the harvest is finished. We would LOVE some extra pairs of hands to help make the work a little lighter.

This position is best suited for people with lots of energy who do not mind hard work and getting their hands dirty. We prefer that volunteers come for at least 2 hours so we have enough time to explain what needs to be done and get in some good working hours. Previous farming experience is much appreciated but not required. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
