Dollars with Sense Program Volunteer

Help students know how to evaluate their financial decisions against their goals.

In this one-day, interactive classroom program, students will:
Develop a money management self-profile
Learn what influences their spending
Discover how to be a SMART consumer
Calculate the cost of credit
Develop awareness about consumer rights, fraud and consumer protection
Identify their financial needs, wants and goals
Prepare a budget
Learn how to make their money work for them through thoughtful investing.
This position is part of a community event

Dollars with Sense at Dr Knox Middle School

Through the Dollars With Sense program, Grade 8 students get the vital tools they need to make smart financial decisions, live debt-free and become savvy investors.

This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.
