Community Policing Volunteer

Creating a safer community through citizens on patrol, speed watch, auto crime, and child id programs.

This position would contribute to Lake Country Community Policing through Citizens on Patrol, Speed Watch, Auto Crime, and Child ID programs.

This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.

Lake Country Community Policing has been active in the community since 1986. We are a volunteer based non-profit society whose role is to work closely with the RCMP, ICBC, Lake Country District and other enforcement groups by implementing their safety programs, such as Citizens on Patrol, Speed Watch and Auto Crime we work to reduce crime in our community.

Requirements to Volunteer
  • 19 or older
  • Possess a valid BC drivers licence
  • No criminal record
  • Live in the Lake Country Area
  • Clear an RCMP Security Check
  • Communicate and work well as a team
