Habitat For Humanity Okanagan is seeking volunteers to join our Community Engagement and Fundraising Committee (CEFR). We’re on a mission to find fun and engaging ways to generate $$$ to build homes for families in the Okanagan who need a hand up.

Habitat for Humanity Okanagan brings communities together to help families build strength, stability, and independence through affordable homeownership. Our vision is a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live.

The CEFR Committee wants to help close the gap on our $1,000,000 capital campaign to complete 12 new townhomes being built in Lake Country. The walls are rising quickly on this development, and eight wonderful families are ready to move in!

A little background on our Committee’s work:

- the committee meets virtually every month to 6 weeks depending on urgency

- we have some exciting projects on the go including recruiting teams to help build our new homes,

an online auction, bottle drives and an annual gingerbread contest

- we are always looking for opportunities to tell community groups about our work

- we have a need to connect with our donors to get to know them better

- we always want to engage new prospective donors.
