Big Brother (Big Brothers Community Mentoring Program)

All children and youth are empowered to reach their full potential through mentorship.

The Big Brothers mentoring program provides supportive one-to-one mentoring relationships to children and youth in our local communities. A Mentor is a role model that a Mentee can talk to, learn from, and share experiences with. Through regular weekly outings, a relationship builds on trust, common interests, and fun!
This is a one-year commitment, meeting weekly for 2-4 hours in your local community. The result is an impactful experience for both the Mentor and the Mentee.
It's an opportunity to try new things within your local community with someone who could benefit from a little extra one-on-one time. Volunteering as a Big Brother also provides you with the practice of acting as a mentor, and helping encourage the best in a local child or youth. This skill translates to every other facet in your life, with friends, family, and in your career.
Our Volunteers are adults of all genders and come from diverse backgrounds.
Our Little Brothers are children ages 7 to 14.

This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.

You must apply before Dec 31st 2023
