Homeschooler Monday: Slime Science

Feb 23, 2026, 5:30 PM

Is it a liquid? Is it a solid? In this workshop, kids aged 6 to 10 will explore the weird and wonderful world of matter through slime-tastic experiments! Young scientists will whip up stretchy slime, roll their own silky soft cloud dough, and get messy with oobleck—the strange substance that’s sometimes liquid and sometimes solid. With plenty of hands-on squish, stretch, and science, this session makes chemistry come alive in the most unforgettable way!
Registration will open to members on Wednesday, February 4th at 9am. Registration for the general public will open on Friday, February 6th at 9am.
This program is free to attend, thanks to the generous support of the Drax Foundation.
