Loaded up for our annual Christmas Family Hamper drop off for SOWINS!

A big thank you to our staff for all of their generous donations - together we gathered enough goodies to support two local families this year!

Merry Christmas!

Valley Comfort Systems
Blaze King just picked up a few boxes (and then a few more boxes) of Tim Horton's Smile Cookies for our staff - 100% of proceeds go to the "South Okanagan School Breakfast Fund" to help ensure no that students will go hungry this fall in our community.
Here's a few photos from the "CoVic Gardens Project" set up by Penticton's Medical Arts Health Research Group. Valley Comfort / Blaze King helped fund the project and also donated the plaques for each garden bed. The goal of this project was to provide local families with seeded garden boxes in order to grow vegetables for both themselves and for local Food Banks during the pandemic.
Today marks a new initiative by Giving Tuesday called Giving Tuesday Now. The goal is to rally the world to drive a massive, collective spike of generosity, citizen engagement, philanthropy activation, and support for communities and non-profits around the world.

At Do Some Good, we’re fortunate to see this generosity every single day in support of many nonprofits. Our platform is free to use by community organizations and there is a big reason for that: The generosity of our Good Companies. By choosing to use Do Some Good, Good Companies make it possible for these organizations to gain awareness for their causes, find volunteers, manage events, and do so much more. Today we will showcase these businesses because they all do so much to give back to their local communities. We want to thank them for making our communities stronger!

Blaze King is mourning the loss of one of our previous owners, Patrick Turner, who passed away shortly after being diagnosed with gastric cancer.

Per Patrick’s wishes, we are making a donation to the BC SPCA on his behalf through a fundraiser they have going on right now. If anyone would like to contribute as well, they are welcome to! All donations go directly to the South Okanagan branch of the SPCA. You can access the fundraiser through this link:

Solid effort from our team at Valley Comfort Systems: A couple truckloads full of food donations for The Salvation Army Penticton as well as gifts galore for three families sponsored through SOWINS Penticton (https://sowins.com).
