Newly Renovated!!
We are excited to announce that our Quance Food Store has completed their extensive renovation!
This location now features a brand new pharmacy, dry-aged beef, fried chicken, scratch made bakery, and many more offerings!
We are also now able to offer “Click and Collect” online grocery shopping for our guests at Quance. The guest creates an online grocery order, then our team members will assemble the order and deliver directly to the guests car!
Thank you to our dedicated and patient members who have stuck with us through this renovation. The wait was definitely worth the end result!
“When I filled up with gas at the Emerald Park Gas Bar, I was 100% blown away from what I witnessed.
Daniel, a gas bar attendant was assisting a elderly lady into the c-store and then assisted her back our to her vehicle and had her buckled up in her car.
I could not help but ask Daniel, if he happened to know her. He said “No, but I thought I could help!”
He proceeded to tell me the rest of the story….
When the elderly woman (lets call her Elsie) pulled up in the passenger seat of what appeared to be her daughters SUV, Daniel went ahead and offered to fill it up. He also made a cheeky comment on what a beautiful young lady was riding in the passenger seat. Elsie happened to turn 85 a few days earlier so she was thrilled with such a comment. Elsie of course, needed to use the washroom, so Daniel took her by the arm and led her to the washroom. When Elsie was done in the washroom, the daughter was going to help her back out to the vehicle, and Elsie said “No, my new boyfriend will help me out!” Daniel took her by the arm and led her back to the vehicle and buckled her in.
Daniel told me that Elsie said to him as he was closing the door that she would never forget this day, and thanked him very much for putting a smile on her face.”
Thank you to our member Mitchell for sharing his story with us, it certainly put smiles on our faces as well.
Exciting news for Youth for Christ Regina, their Youth Centre will be getting a facelift with Co-op Imagine paint!
We are proud to donate them enough paint for their project through our “Communities in Full Colour” program!
Happy Painting! 🎨
A huge thank you to Access Communications for the fantastic job they did, helping with our AGM earlier this month. We would like to show our appreciation by presenting the Access Communications Children’s Fund with $5000 to support projects that focus on education & literacy, health & wellness, and social inclusion for children in need in our province.
Coming together to help those in need in our communities – it’s the Co-operative way!
