Local Support:

The Nomad Food Co. started advertising with the Times review in March 2020 and have been continuing to advertise since. The Silver package has a low monthly cost and includes partnership advertising with the Times review online and also in weekly print. The Times Review have been great with new ideas to promote our business and make the process easy and seamless, billing is easy too. We recommend this package to any business looking to advertise locally and have a partner that will help with great ad designs and promoting your business to their large list of local followers.

Back in September we had a feature in our paper called "Fill the Pantry Pages" where every ad bought HALF of the money went to the Community Connections (Revelstoke) Society Food Bank. Well today we were able to present a cheque of $910 to Patti Larson & Sheena Bell right in time to help the Food Bank with the second wave of COVID. :)
If you are shopping at Save On foods from now until the end of the month, remember to ask your Cashier about subscribing to the Revelstoke Review! As half of the money spent on your subscription will go to the Community Connections (Revelstoke) Society Food Bank!
Did you treat your significant other to a Harvest at Home dinner made by Revelstoke Local Food Initiative this past Saturday? If so, you may have noticed a free Hungry Toque Cookbook came with each package! This was a combined donated value between Josh (the head chef & book brain child) , the LFI & the Revelstoke Review, a total of $1190! The dinner was also delicious to boot! #buildstrongcommunities
Schools back in session this week! Did you order a back to school supplies package from Your Office & Art Supply? If so you would notice a free Revelstoke Review Newspaper came with each package! If not there is still time to order your package from Your Office and Art Supply to get stocked up for your school year!
Well today is a good day! We gave our friends over at Revelstoke Local Food Initiative $$1585 for the first round of the Hungry Toque cookbook sales! Looking forward to handing over another one of these cheques in the near future!
Have you picked up your copy of the Review this week??! Well this week Ainsley is on the cover and she is having an auction for a picnic table to raise money for the Community Connections (Revelstoke) Society Food Bank! We at the Review thought this was an awesome initiative and gave her this front cover ad position for FREE (a value of $150) so Ainsley can get some more bids! Stay tuned for a follow up story from us to see just how much Ainsley raises!
On July 24, the Revelstoke and District Humane Society received a massive donation from Jacobson Ford! This is the second year of running the initiative, and is titled "Fill a Truck with Humanity". Jacobson Ford accepted donations of food, toys and blankets for three months in their showroom, despite COVID19 and having a closed showroom for a period of time they still were able to fill an entire truck bed! We at the Review were happy to provide some free advertising to help gather donations for this Initiative. A total of $552 of print advertising was provided. #workingtogether
