Okanagan College continues to be an important partner of the United Way. They have been running workplace campaigns for many years and have donated over $36 000 in the past five years alone. They have been a proud supporter at many of our events, including attending our kickoff breakfasts. Thank you to Okanagan College for making a difference in your community.

Stories of our community involvement
Had a great time promoting Do Some Good at Okanagan College today! Students, don't forget to log your volunteer hours and explore the app!
Luna and I had a great time visiting Okanagan College today as part of the Pets and People Visiting Society team. 6 handlers and 7 dogs got to spend some time at the student centre for their Paws and Pizza event to help with a little mid term stress busting! The students got to interact with the dogs, take some selfies and of course, get some cuddles. It was very rewarding to be part of the team and to hear so many students say ‘that made my day’ as they were walking away.
Look who stopped by for a visit! Global News Kelowna came by to talk to Shannon Christensen from Mamas for Mamas and students from Okanagan College about how they use Do Some Good to help make an impact in our community. Thank you for sharing your stories!
Last night the annual Young Alumni Awards were presented to two very deserving and active members of our community! Brea Retzlaff and Drew Vincent are two outstanding representatives of Okanagan College who have done great things to make an impact at a young age. Congratulations to you both, and thank you for all the good you do!

Having so much fun at #Okanagan College
In celebration of National Volunteer week, we wanted to give a shoutout to the amazing student volunteers who have been dedicated to developing entrepreneurial projects, fundraisers and events. 49 Enactus students across all four of the Okanagan College campuses, have logged over 7400 hours, contributing to 7 projects that have directly impacted 900+ community members. Way to go team!
With the help of my friend/class mate we have donated the Mini Refrigerator to Okanagan College HCA class 2017/18. This refrigerator will be used by Students so they can keep there lunch so it won't go bad. So proud that I can help the community. It will be used by future students as well.
We had an awesome time chatting with students at the Okanagan College Winter Carnival Welcome Back Lunch today! It was great to meet so many students who are jazzed about giving back and making an impact in the community!
Donation was collected by the Okanagan College HCA students and was donated to the Upper Room Mission. Event was planned and organised by (Baljit Sandhu) girl who went to donate this stuff with me is Carissa Corrigan.

The reason for this donation is to help the ones in need and to encourage other students and community to donate as much as possible because the need is huge in our community.
We're committed to giving back to the community!
