3% Tuesday has offered many of the participants at Centre for Young Parents access to nutritious, healthy foods that they could not have other wise afforded at their time of need. Thanks to this program many of the families involved with our Centre are not going to bed hungry and know where turn when they are in need of food security. Thank you so much to the New Horizon Co-op for your care and dedication in eradicating food security for many families in our area.

Stories of our community involvement
Last week, Kelsey, Dan and Breanna dropped off approximately $3900 worth of hygiene products to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation to support their new Backpack Program in their Mental Health & Addictions Unit!

This new initiative, started and led by the Unit staff, was created to give patients who come in during times of crisis, a dignity care package to help support them on their journey when they are discharged from the unit. ❤

We are thankful for the opportunity to support a much needed and important program in our community.
Natascha from the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre stopped by this morning to pick up a $200 Gift Card donation to help with their Summer Youth Program, The Friendship Project. ❤

This donation will help contribute towards food, swag bags, fuel and will benefit the diverse group of youth in our area attending the program this year.
Did you hear that GrandeCon is coming up July 15-17? We are thrilled to be this event's Volunteer Sponsor. 100% of the money raised at the event will benefit the Odyssey House Women & Children's Shelter !!

Community Impact

New Horizon Co-Op has been very gracious to our school this year. They have provided gift cards for $800 to go towards our Nutrition Program as well as always serve us for various needs (whether it be muffins or fruit or more) with grace and kindness. The gift cards provided have helped our students when they forget lunch or are unable to bring a lunch on any given day. Fueling our brains for success, our students are ready to learn because of the good actions of Co-Op. Thank you for your continuing support.
