November is Diabetes Awareness Month, and while 1 in 3 Canadians have diabetes today, many people aren’t aware of the impact it can have on your health, including the likelihood of developing hearing loss. As the national hearing health partner of Diabetes Canada, we’re working to help Canadians #EndDiabetesTogether by learning the warning signs of this condition and taking the necessary steps to prevent it. https://www.connecthearing.ca/blog/hearing-and-... Had a fantastic time at the Kelowna Wellness Fair this past weekend at the Parkinson Recreation Centre providing complimentary Hearing Health Checks to event attendees. It's been wonderful to both sponsor and attend this event for the last few years and we're excited to be back again next year.
Last night during the Global TV News Hour at 6 Connect Hearing matched all donations made to Variety BC to help support families with children with special needs. As the #1 physician referred hearing care provider in the country, I know Connect Hearing understands the importance of seamless healthcare for family members of all generations which is why I'm so proud to be part of this organization.
