We are so grateful to Coastal Community Credit Union's relief funds, which enabled Story Theatre to secure a BC wide tour to schools to bring children incredible live theatre. Many children have never experienced theatre due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and so we are so happy to bring the magic of live performance back into schools, who continue to need community support as teachers and staff care for children in schools. Thank you Coastal Community Credit Union, we are so happy to be part of your community!
The Victoria Arion Male Choir not only did Coastal Community Credit Union sponsored us now for two years but also participated in our Purdy's Chocolate Christmas Fundraiser this year.
Coastal Community support came at a crucial time in 2020, helping the Nanaimo Arts Council to pivot to online services and exhibitions. We used the funds to create an online gallery, which continues today. While we have returned to live shows and in-person meetings, the gallery plays a valuable role in broadening our community reach and improving accessibility to visual art. We are grateful to the Coastal Community Credit Union.
