Thanks to Prospera Credit Union for donating funds to 3rd Cloverdale Scouts. I've been involved with Scouts since the day I began working at Westminster Savings. I started out as a Scout Leader and kept being involved when my older kids moved on. I became a Beaver leader when my youngest joined and am now a Cub leader. The scout group is awesome for kids 5+. It teaches kids life skills such as outdoor skills and many activities, social responsibility, and leadership. I've learned so much being involved in Scouts and have been proud to see the kids that I've been involved with grow into responsible adults. Scouts also has a policy of "no one left behind" which allows kids that would not normally be able to participate due to financial constraint to be involved despite mitigating circumstances. Kids are taught critical thinking and planning skills. I am proud to be an employee at Prospera, and am proud to be involved with Scouts. Thank you for bringing the two together.
