We were able to provide healthy food options with the freshest ingredients to our athletes while they played badminton.
Local Co-op Support:
Co-op was generous enough to donate both food and water to the badminton tournament held at Ethelbert School on April 9th, 2022. It was a great turn out with 6 school participating running from 10am-8pm. The food and water provided and sold through our canteen gave our athletes a healthy food alternative during their downtime, which allowed them to re-energize and put their best performance forward. This canteen was run by Ethelbert's Sustainable Tourism class, with the proceeds going towards their year end tourism trip. All parents, students and staff in attendance were so grateful for the generous donation that Co-op gave our school and the opportunities it created for our tourism students. We hope to be able to partner with them again in the future as it was such a great experience!
