Coastal Community will be awarding 8 scholarships of $2,000 each. In addition, 2 students will be chosen as the overall winners and will receive financial support to implement their community project.

To be eligible for our scholarship program students need to:
• Be a grade 12 student planning to attend fulltime undergraduate study at an approved college or university, trade school or special interest school.
• Submit an online application which includes the details of their community plan. Keep It Simple!

Students chosen to implement their project will:
• Receive an additional $500 scholarship at the completion of your project.
• Be awarded up to $1,000 to help with the implementation of your project.
The community project must be implemented by August 31, 2022.

This program is being offered to students across Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. One of the 8 scholarships will be allocated to a student of Coastal Community employees. (Student refers to a grandchild or child of an employee.)

The application deadline is April 1, 2022!

Deadline & Submission
Applications are now OPEN. Applications (which includes the details of the community project we are looking for) must be submitted online by 11:59pm on April 1, 2021. Here is a link for more information:
