The Mission community is fundraising for a much-needed CT Scanner for Mission Memorial Hospital. Mission Branch Manager, Sean Melia presented a cheque to Mission All Together for Healthcare (M.A.T.H.) representatives, Dr Andrew Edelson and Judith Ray, on September 23rd.
“There are a fair number of people who think we have an old folks home there, not a hospital, and it turns out it’s quite a functional hospital that works well with Abbotsford.
Over the past 10 years we have worked hard on developing a better relationship with the regional hospital so we are more part of the system and are able to do what we need to do, with better efficiency, understanding the limitations of smaller hospitals.” ~ Dr Andrew Edelson, M.A.T.H. Co-Chair
