Yesterday, the Calgary Smartians headed to the banks of the Bow River to tackle waterway litter pollution as part of the Great Canadian Shoreline Clean Up. Our Waste Wizards wore orange during the clean up to honour diversity and inclusivity in recognition of Orange Shirt Day for Truth and Reconciliation which is now recognized each year on September 30 across Canada.

This is our second event with Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup. We are proud to partner with City of Calgary to give back where we live. RecycleSmart
