Island Savings a division of First West Credit Union and its Simple Generosity program just added another boost of #LearningPotential to our community!

We just donated $3,500 of #LearningPotential to Literacy Now Cowichan Society! Their digital literacy work reaches across our community – from helping seniors feel less isolated (an especially important program during the pandemic) to helping people upgrade their literacy education for employment or newcomers to Canada that area seeking ESL tutoring, Literacy Now is here to help – and we’re thrilled to provide financial support.

“It’s hard to put into words the impact of this donation.” Says Jessica Lewinski, Executive Director of Literacy Now Cowichan. “Through the generosity of donations like this, we are able to keep our programs 100% free and accessible to all. Our deepest and heartfelt gratitude to Island Savings, we are grateful beyond words.”

Island Savings also wants to help further your own #LearningPotential, so visit our Facebook and Instagram pages and these learning potential posts to see how!
