On September 5, Island Savings a division of First West Credit Union participated in the Woodgrove Block Party – a free family event held at Woodgrove Centre. The team was onsite collecting food and cash donations for the Full Cupboard in support of the Loaves & Fishes Food Bank. In total, 195 kg of food was collected and $5,000 was donated to the Full Cupboard by Island Savings in addition to the other cash donations received that day!
It was the ultimate block party with rides, live music, food, giveaways and fundraising for a good cause.
