Through our Simple Generosity Program, we heard a story from Lori in Mission about how her family loves geocaching. That inspired us at Envision Financial to make a $2,000 donation to Mission Environmental Stewardship! Here’s what they had to say: “We are thrilled to apply the donation to our anti-litter programming - especially during the time of the pandemic when funding is challenging. Families are the key to building strong, resilient communities. We engage families to clean up their community together, which builds bonds between people as they share time together outdoors. Through our program, families get exercise while meeting their neighbours in their clean, healthy spaces. Thriving families improve the overall quality of life in a community.
This donation will help us reach more families and people in the community to promote environmental leadership and engage citizens to volunteer. We will finally be able to buy a new popup tent (as our previous one leaks) and further support our youth programming.”
