Thank you to everyone who came out to support the recent Full Cupboard bottle drive put on by our Island Savings a division of First West Credit Union Mill Bay branch team. Our staff were happy to once again be out volunteering and had a great afternoon connecting with the public in the sunshine. Your donations of bottles, cans and cash amounted to just over $1,000! $1001 to be exact which will help to generate 3003 meals for those in need through our local food banks. 100% of the donation will be provided to our Full Cupboard Greatest Need account serving those food banks most in need. A big thank you to Island Return It for all of their assistance and to Country Grocer in Cobble Hill for letting us use their parking lot.
