As a UNESCO designated site, The Tumbler Ridge Visitor Centre is always looking to find new ways to incorporate outdoor learning and physical education within the community. Partnering with the local non-motorized outdoors society, Wolverine Nordic and Mountain Society, they believe cross-country skis can help build a healthier, more environmentally friendly community. They also believe everyone should have access to affordable, efficient transportation and equipment. With the new CO-OP Community cross-country ski program, they will be able to provide equipment and new opportunities to learn about the natural landscapes that surround us.
