We’d like to introduce Kirsten McKinlay , an insurance Advisor at our Duncan agency. This 12-year industry veteran has been with Coastal Community Insurance Services for 3 years, and she inspires us all with her passion for giving back. Kirsten is a past recipient of our Volunteer Program draw and she directed her winnings to Nourish Cowichan.
The busy volunteer also donates her time to this organization because she believes in their mission to ensure local children do not go hungry. Kirsten was introduced to NOURISH COWICHAN SOCIETY when she joined her insurance team in helping with the preparation and delivery of food to schools. Being creative, she also helped decorate for Nourish Cowichan’s many fundraising events, like the Christmas Tea and the annual Gala. When these events were cancelled last year due to COVID-19, the organization reached out to Kirsten to ask for her help with their online pop up shop. She was happy to personalize six Christmas Tree boxes and paint 18 signs to support the new venture!
