This year's graduating high school students have heavily felt the impact of COVID, as traditional get-togethers, activities, and fundraising in preparation for grad celebrations have been reduced or eliminated. However, Cowichan Secondary School recently held a COVID friendly bottle drive and had over 30 grads come out to help make it a huge success. Thanks to Peninsula Co-op for donating gift cards to the Cow High Dry Grad Parent Committee. Student helpers at the bottle drive were entered into an hourly draw to win some of these gas cards. Students were thrilled and will definitely be happy to help out again in the future. Win-Win for all.
