Since the pandemic, many more people have been enjoying the great outdoors. This includes Nanaimo’s Morrell Sanctuary. But the influx in visitors means more upkeep. To help keep this Island gem open and accessible, the Sanctuary will receive $3,000 from Coastal Community to help with their Yew Loop Restoration Project. Coastal Community is proud to support the Morrell Sanctuary Society for Environmental Education through its Relief and Resiliency Fund.
