Our first donation of the #1MillionCampaign being handed off to Connect Counselling & Therapy Society! More than $300 to help reduce the waitlist and inaccessibility when it comes to trauma counselling at Connect.
We are so excited to share this partnership with you and get to talk about the incredible services, programs, and safe space this society provides to not only our community but to us as individuals.
I was lucky enough to be referred to Connect when it used to be the Kelowna Family Center, it was my first time going back to counselling since childhood and to say I was nervous would've been an understatement.
A few years later, and a place I continue to go to for regular counselling, Michael and I couldn't help but feel the connection and need to support these services any way we could.
