Thank you to everyone who came out last week to support the Beer & Burger Night at the Cowichan Valley Inn in support of our signature cause The Full Cupboard. The delicious fundraiser helped to raise $1,505 which with the buying power of our local food banks will help to generate more than 4,515 meals for those in need. Thank you to our amazing event organizers Michealla Beck, Cathy King and Chad Ramsey who brought this all together in a very short period of time. The venue was packed and with the generosity of the CVI the profit margin was quite high for every ticket sold. Extra shout out to Chad who rounded up a considerable amount of great prizes from local businesses for the silent auction table. It has been so inspiring to see the support and generosity of our local business community in supporting the Full Cupboard and our goal of no island child going hungry! Well done everyone!
