Thank you to everyone who donated to today's Sweet Treat Sale for our signature cause The Full Cupboard. The event was held at both our Administration and Cowichan Commons locations and featured a wide variety of delicious baked and candied treats as well as a wine and chocolate basket raffle. In total more than $525 was raised which with the buying power of our local food bank will help to generate more than 1,575 meals for those in need. Special thanks to Shanon Dycke for organizing and to our Member Contact Centre staff and Cowichan Commons team for their support. The event was generously supported by our local business community with donations by Thrifty Foods, Unsworth Vineyard, True Grain Bakery and Rembrandt's Chocolates. All proceeds, along with the leftover goodies will be donated to our Full Cupboard food bank partner at the Cowichan Valley Basket Society. Well done everyone!
