Joining a community garden is a great way to enjoy locally grown food, connect with nature, meet your neighbours, and be healthy. In addition to their ecological, social, nutritional and economic benefits, community gardens help to make us and our communities more resilient! This morning we had the pleasure of visiting the 7th Day Adventist Community Garden and presenting them with a $500 cheque to help buy supplies to get their 2018 growing season started!
