Thank you Brown Communications for joining SaskEnergy employees to volunteer at one of our first Share the Warmth Project Days this year. 855 children in Regina received a hot chili lunch from Regina Food for Learning today, to draw attention to child hunger in schools and volunteers helped deliver and serve food. Many of us have children of our own, and the thought that, for some of the students at participating schools, this could be their only meal of the day is shocking and heartbreaking at a time when families are preparing for a bountiful holiday season. 22 Share the Warmth grants across Saskatchewan are hopefully helping create bright moments for thousands of children and it will be the hands of loving volunteers that provide the warmth we aspire to make possible.
