Winning the $50,000 SimpleGenerosity grant from Island Savings a division of First West Credit Union would support the construction of their Blue Grouse Open Classroom and to purchase the science and audio equipment to support the program. SeaChange Marine Conservation Society is dedicated to education, conservation and restoration of marine ecosystems in partnership with coastal communities in BC. The Blue Grouse program will allow them to expand their environmental programming to increase First Nations participating and will work local educators in the community.
