Vote now for Abbotsford Virtual School PAC by selecting an emoji below! Winning the $50,000 SimpleGenerosity grant from Envision Financial, a division of First West Credit Union would mean a new safe play structure for children at AVS and the community. As the old playground was removed several years ago, there’s no playground on site for the more than 300 students at AVS. The new play structure will be a safe place to play, exercise, and socially interact -- before, during, and after class. We all know that play and learning tend to go hand-in hand, with play fostering the development of physical abilities as well as cognitive, social and even literacy skills. A new playground would afford all children with the means to play, interact, learn, and grow together regardless of age, grade, or ability. Thank you for helping us celebrate Canada150 and strengthening our communities with SimpleGenerosity!
