Winning the $50,000 SimpleGenerosity grant from Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union and Enderby & District Financial, a division of First West CU would help them develop their Okanagan-Skaha Recreation Celebration – funding outdoor recreation opportunities for youth in the Okanagan-Skaha school district and engaging with the rich environment around them. This new program will provide learning experiences that would otherwise be impossible for a majority of local youth to participate in.
