Semi-virtual positions (based in Kelowna), the Marketing and Communications Volunteer(s) will be involved in the development & implementation of the following initiatives:
Marketing – Build brand identity, awareness and value, and expand organizational reach to key stakeholders throughout the region.
Activities include: developing and implementing a marketing plan for organization; developing all marketing materials (ie. Brochures, posters, digital advertising); ensuring full engagement with sport community; ensuring consistent messaging that is aligned with organizational vision and values.
Communications – Support internal and external communications policies and procedures, and coordinate consistent messaging that is aligned with organizational vision and values.
Activities include: developing media releases and serving as media liaison; developing a media library for use in all marketing and online materials; ensuring consistent messaging in all internal and external communications.
