Marketing and Communications Volunteer
Empower our communities to play, participate and perform at their best, through sport.Semi-virtual positions (based in Kelowna), the Marketing and Communications Volunteer(s) will be involved in the development & implementation of the following initiatives:
Marketing – Build brand identity, awareness and value, and expand organizational reach to key stakeholders throughout the region.
Activities include: developing and implementing a marketing plan for organization; developing all marketing materials (ie. Brochures, posters, digital advertising); ensuring full engagement with sport community; ensuring consistent messaging that is aligned with organizational vision and values.
Communications – Support internal and external communications policies and procedures, and coordinate consistent messaging that is aligned with organizational vision and values.
Activities include: developing media releases and serving as media liaison; developing a media library for use in all marketing and online materials; ensuring consistent messaging in all internal and external communications.
This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.
