Event Assistant

Help to support individuals affected by sexual abuse, exploitation, or violence

Volunteer Event Assistant – Chocoholic Frolic 5K Frolic Fundraiser
We are looking for a Volunteer Event Assistant to help organize our 4th Annual Chocoholic 5km Frolic - Hop for Hope Fundraiser. Event takes place Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Mission Creek Regional Park Greenway.
The Chocoholic 5k Frolic is a fun-filled family event that features stations of chocolate along the Greenway route. Families are welcome to run, walk, or bike 5k together, while refueling with some delicious chocolate bites provided by premier local Chocolatiers.
The role of the Event Assistant is to support the Event Coordinator in the planning, development and implementation of the event. The successful candidate will have experience in securing sponsorship and donations, along with advertising and marketing knowledge.
Time commitment will be from January 2018 – April 2018. Hours are estimated at approximately 4 hours per week/16 hours per month.
All money raised from event will go directly to our critical core services and education programs, including: Girls United, Tough Guise, and our trauma counseling programs. These programs directly impact the lives of those most vulnerable in our community – individuals affected by sexual abuse, exploitation, or violence in our very own neighborhoods.

Chocoholic Frolic 5K Frolic Fundraiser - Hop for Hope

Mar 25, 2018, 5 - 8pm

The Chocoholic 5k Frolic is a fun-filled family event that features stations of chocolate along Mission Creek Greenway. Families are welcome to run, walk, or bike together, while refueling with some delicious chocolate bites.

This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.
