Event Assistant

Help out at Bike to Work Week events

Help BTWW coordinators with various tasks including set up and take down of event, stamping Passports, counting attendees, helping serve food, taking photos for people at the photo booth, encouraging people to try yoga, keeping notes of what’s going on, etc. Seeking 1 to 2 volunteers per day.
Most events run 6:30-8:45 am. Set-up and take down are 5:30-6:30 am and 8:45-9:30 am

Bike to Work Week is an exciting community event that encourages everyone to try cycling by providing resources and support for new and continuing cyclists. Bike to Work encourages employees to create workplace teams and log their cycling commutes to win prizes and compete against other local organizations. Each day there is a Celebration Station around the Central Okanagan providing free tune ups, snacks and prizes to commuters travelling to and from work
